French Dip Sandwich

French Dip Sandwiches

  • 21 oz Condensed French Onion Soup (2 cans)
  • 10.5 oz Beef broth
  • 3-4 lbs Beef chuck roast
  • 8 rolls Sandwich bread
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  1. Place the roast in a slow cooker. Add French Onion soup and beef broth in the cooker

  2. Cook low for 8 hours

  3. Remove 3 cups of broth from the slow cooker and put in sauce pan. Cook in medium heat and bring to broil for about 10 minutes or until the broth reduce to half.

  4. Move the beef to a plate and shred to small pieces

  5. Put beef in sandwich buns and top with provolone cheese

  6. Cover buns with foil and put in oven at 350F for about 5 minutes or until the cheese melt

  7. Serve with dipping sauce
