A passion for cooking, a journey to better health.
For almost 20 years, I owned and operated a Thai restaurant, sharing my love for flavorful, authentic cuisine with my community. Cooking was my passion, my career, and my way of bringing people together around the table. But life had a different plan for me.
A few years ago, I was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation (AFib)—a heart condition that made me rethink my lifestyle, especially my diet. I had spent years perfecting recipes full of flavor, but I realized I needed to make healthier choices if I wanted to get better. It wasn’t an easy shift. I wasn’t a doctor, just a patient determined to improve my health through the one thing I knew best: cooking.
I learned that eating well doesn’t mean giving up the flavors I love. By making small changes—using healthier ingredients, reducing sodium, incorporating heart-friendly fats, and focusing on fresh, whole foods—I was able to keep the essence of Thai and global cuisine while making it better for my heart.
What started as a day-to-day cooking page has now become a mission—to share what I’ve learned with others who want to eat well, feel better, and still enjoy every bite. Whether you’re managing heart health, looking for balanced meals, or just love delicious, home-cooked food, my recipes are here to inspire you.
I’m not a doctor, just a home cook and former restaurant owner on a journey to better health. And I hope you’ll join me on this path—one heart-healthy meal at a time.
