Who does not like Panda Express “Orange Chicken” right? I love it so much that I searched for recipe that taste as good and I finally found one. I adjust the recipe a bit for my own taste. I hope you like it too.
Ingredients
Batter for chicken coating
- Chicken thigh
- 1/2 tbs salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 cut cornstarch
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of water
- 1 tbs oil
Orange Sauce
- 1 tbs garlic
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 2 tsp orange zest
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 3 tbs soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Thickening starch
- 2 tbs water
- 1 tbs cornstarch
